Huge waves have taken big chunks out of the  UK coastline, the Somerset Levels have been underwater for weeks and it just keeps on raining. The only people who have been happy (or benefited in some way)  with the storms that have blighted Britain have been the surfers who have had some excellent consistent swells.  The oracle of weather that is the Met Office have said, this pattern of meteorological events is set to stay for some time – which makes having a decent set of wellington boots all the more important.
